Production Supervisor, Stuart Parkin passed IOSH Managing Safely and is busy reviewing and updating our Health & Safety procedures.
Other members of Hiatco’s team will be attending the course in the future as part of our continual improvement and development.
As part of out commitment to health & safety and customer satisfaction we have recently undertaken a project to reconfirm the capabilities of our access platforms.
In addition to extensive calculations, modelling and analysis Hiatco worked along side a major player in the access industry who carried out a destructive test with impressive results. The platform withstood over 19 times its safe working load.
The test results reiterated a sense of confidence in our product throughout the entire power access industry.
We have confirmed our stand at this years Durham Oktoberfest Exhibition, we will be exhibiting on stands 32&32 and look forward to seeing old friends as well as meeting new people. Durham Oktoberfest is run by the North Durham Engineering Forum (NDEF) and is the North East’s Premier Engineering & Manufacturing Exhibition and is designed to promote the industry in the North East region as well as help develop and strengthen inter-company relationships within the engineering & manufacturing sectors.
